The objectives of the Shekhawati Defence College is
to provide the best environment for preparation of Defence/ Paramilitary
services as an Officer, which will eable young boys and girls to build their
future. SDC is to serve candidate with dedication, devotion and determination
for preparatory examination. SDC
shapes the young and the beautiful minds to get a sure success in examinations
like NDA, IMA, OTA, UPSC entry as Assistant Commandant in CPF related to
UNIFORM SERVICES. SDC has been established on 1st april 2016 under the esteem
leadership, vivid vision and the best of the wisdom of Er.(Shri) Ranjeet Singh
Chairman Shekhawati Group of Institution, (SGI) Sikar. The sole strength of the
SDC as a ace team headed by Shri Shri D.C. Mehlawat. A.D.

The approach adopted at Shekhawati seeks to empower
the students to harness their potential strengths and to emerge as well informed
and confident individuals with a positive mind set Continuous evaluation,
assignments, group and individual performance, presentation, deadlines for
achieving time bound performances. There is a fine blend of theoretical and
practical inputs through faculty members, drawn from the team of expertise.
To
ensure the sure success of the students, who are ready to join the Defence Services to serve the
Mother land. The candidates, who are keen to join the Defence/ paramilitary will be
put through meticulous outdoor activities and indoor academic sessions with

HISTROY OF SHEKHAWATI
Shekhawati region of Rajasthan consists of the areas falling under Sikar,
Jhunjhunu and some parts of Churu, Nagaur and Jaipur. There are thousand of
Villages and Towns which comes under Shekhawati region. Shekhawati is famous for
its rich heritage and beautiful architectures full of fresco paintings , hence
also known as “open air art gallery”. Now a days Shekhawati is the most favorite
tourist destination for those visiting India to experience this heritage rich
territory. Many of these old heritage Havelis and other buildings (Mansions,
Forts) are now converted in to hotels and guest house. Shekhawati is truly a
blessing for all art lovers who are in to architecture and old painted
sculptures. Shekhawati style of architecture is unique in itself. The Mansions
(Havelis) , Step Wells (Bawadi) , Charitable Inns (Dharamshalas),
Cenotaph(Chhatris) and Forts made by Shekhawat Rajput rulers and Marwari
community is beautifully painted with divine and contemporary pictures ranging
from Hindu Gods to British Raj to Trains to Telephones and more..
SDC now preparing rather the MAKING OF AN OFFICER cadre for defence services /
Paramilitary services. SDC will left no stone unturned to make future OFFICERS
from all across India.
